Dear Reader, This week I want to share something that took me years, and a lot of failed attempts, to finally understand: that the reason most manifestation methods don't work has nothing to do with your effort, your desire, or your belief. I made this video because nobody ever explained the full picture to me either — and once I saw it, everything shifted. Watch it if you have tried the visualisation, the vision boards, the affirmations, and still feel like something essential is missing. What Abraham Hicks Didn't Tell MeI want to tell you something about how the heartset was born, because it did not come from a theory. It came from years of trying everything else first. When I lost everything in South Africa in 2008 — my mother, my job, my sense of direction — I threw myself into every manifestation teaching I could find. Abraham Hicks. The Secret. Science of the Mind, which I had studied at Agape in Los Angeles under Michael Beckwith. All of it pointed toward one thing: you have to see it, visualise it, create what they called the mental equivalent of what you want to manifest. And so I did. I would lie on my bed in Cape Town and imagine a new life. A new income. A new beginning. I watched the videos, did the practices, held the images in my mind. And occasionally, I would hear someone say — almost in passing — that you also have to feel it. But nobody ever told me what that actually meant. Or how to do it. It was only when I became a HeartMath coach that something clicked into place. I learned that the heart generates the largest electromagnetic field in the body, far larger than the brain. That when you lock into a genuine emotional state and sustain it for as little as seventeen seconds, you begin to summon thoughts that match that feeling. That the heart is not just a pump, it is a magnetic centre. And what it is set on, it begins to draw toward itself. That is when I understood what the great teachers were actually pointing at. Neville Goddard's instruction to cultivate the feeling of the wish fulfilled. David Hawkins' work on attractor fields and energetic alignment. They were all describing the same thing: that the feeling is not a side effect of manifestation. It is the mechanism. And so the heartset was born — not as a concept, but as a practice. Setting your heart on something. Cultivating the felt reality of it in your body. And then aligning with the energy that nurtures, cares for, and supports all of life — the energy that, when you are genuinely coherent with it, simply wants to help you. I saw it play out in my own life when I walked the Camino de Santiago. I knew I wanted to live in Spain. But I had no idea where. And so I did not plan. I prayed, I forgave, I surrendered, I walked. And something quietly extraordinary happened: of all the people I could have met on that road through northern Spain, I kept meeting people from Andalusia. Strangers who would stop me and say — you have to go to Granada. A week later, I arrived in Granada. On the second day, I knew in my heart this would be my new home. Not as a thought. As a felt recognition. Something in me said: this is it. And it was not a coincidence. It was The Coherence Effect — the moment your inner state aligns with the energy that is already moving in your direction. Have you ever had a similar experience? A practice to carry into this weekend: Sit quietly for a moment. Ask yourself: What is it that I would truly love to create or experience in my life? Now — not what it would look like. What would it feel like in your body if it were already real? Find something, a memory, a piece of music, a moment from your past, that activates that feeling in you right now. Sit with it. Let it become real in your body for at least thirty seconds. And then, from that feeling — not from your to-do list, not from obligation — ask: is there something I feel genuinely called to do today? That movement, from feeling to aligned action, is the beginning of the heartset practice. And it is where everything changes. Join the Sacred Heart Meditation Circle → A Final ThoughtThis weekend in the United States is Memorial Day, a time set aside to remember. And I want to use this moment to remind you of something you may have forgotten: You are always manifesting. Whether you are conscious of it or not, your heart is always broadcasting — and life is always responding to what it receives. The question is not whether you are creating your reality. The question is whether you are doing it on purpose. Deliverately. You are more powerful than you have been told. And this weekend, perhaps more than most, is a good time to remember that. Dear Reader, This week, I’ve been sitting with the stories of people who survived the Venezuelan earthquake. I’ve watched several interviews, and more than once I’ve found myself crying — not only because of the devastation, but because of the tenderness, clarity, and humility that comes through when someone has been brought so close to the edge of life and death. There is a way people speak after something like that. The unnecessary falls away. Gratitude becomes simple. Love becomes...
Dear Reader, It’s been ten days now since the earthquake struck Venezuela, my home country. My family is safe, and I want to thank so many of you for the beautiful comments you left last week when I shared how tender it all made me feel. More than a week later, I’m still watching the news more than I normally would. I’m sleeping very little. I’ve watched people walk out of the rubble alive after ten days underground, which still feels like a miracle every time. And I’ve also read about entire...
Dear Reader, I'm writing this from a tender place this week. As many of you already know, a devastating earthquake struck my home country Venezuela yesterday. The place where I was born, where my family still lives, where so many people I love are trying to make sense of what just happened. My immediate family is safe. And I want to say thank you to the many of you who reached out, emails, messages, calls, asking how I was, how my family was doing. That kind of care means more than I can say....
